Basic Reference

A basic reference is requesting references from a candidate's last 2 employers.

The references will request information relating to employment dates, position, job performance, productivity, attitude, skills, attendance, eligibility for rehire and reasons for termination. It may also confirm the factual information provided on their CV/Application Form.

Please note that not all of the information may be provided by the old employer and in some cases references may be refused, but charges will still be made. If a previous employer refuses to give a reference or does not respond to a request for a reference after two follow ups, this will be confirmed to you.
