A Landlord has been prosecuted for putting the lives and health of his tenants in danger, by failing to comply with gas safety duties.

Landlords have duties under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations and despite receiving an Enforcement Notice from the H.S.E., the Landlord in question did not take the appropriate action. 

The Landlord was fined a total of £9000 and ordered to pay cost of just under £4000.
