The Health & Safety Executive has today released the 2014/15 workplace fatality figures. The figures show a slight increase over the previous twelve months, with 142 fatal accidents taking place within the workplace.

A.C.T Commerical Director Mark Wheeldon commented "The figures show a continuing downward trend. Worplace fatalities have halved in the last 20 years. This however will provide little to no comfort for those that have been affected by such tragic events. It is for this reason that our vigilance towards workplace safety must remain robust and focused"
